I had the honor of capturing these sweet moments between baby Benny and his loving parents, one of my last sessions of the year.

One of my most favorite places within their home was the baby’s room. With a whimsical wildlife theme, gold frames of all different sizes holding portraits of wild animals filled the walls above the crib. Stuffed animals gathered within the crib. Animal themed books lined the shelves, and a small turtle shaped lamp provided warm light. There was a framed quote sitting behind the turtle lamp, quoting one of my favorite books; “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be”

Usually during sessions, I encourage parents how to pose and what to do. I only direct a little bit, to encourage real, honest moments and gestures. With these two parents, I rarely had to step in to encourage real moments: they unfolded before my eyes in the most beautiful way. Their genuine love, their connection, and their happiness is transparent.
