Mama Meredith | CT Family Photographer

This is my dear friend Meredith. She is a beautiful soul, and mama to two sweet little boys. She is also an avid plant mom, her home filled with house plants of all shapes and sizes.

She will tell me about each of her plants, knowing the names of them perfectly. She will lovingly greet each one, plucking the brown leaves away. Walking into her home is like walking into a magical fairy-tale; leaves and vines and flowers everywhere.

I have been dying to photograph her within her home with all of her plants surrounding her. I told her I was bringing my camera during our kid’s play date, and we captured a beautiful session full of love, laughter, and chaos. Even though the kids were a little wild (which usually happens during a session!) I love how genuinely happy she looks. You can feel how happy she is, how much she loves her sons. How much they love her. And these are the moments I genuinely love to capture <3
