A Session Celebrating Breastfeeding and Pregnancy | CT Maternity Photographer

I traveled down to southern CT for an amazing in home maternity session where I met mama Vanessa and her beautiful family. Our session was to honor many things; her journey through her pregnancy with their second child, her breastfeeding relationship with her daughter, and the love their family holds.

It was an intimate, honest, real session filled with genuine, loving, silly moments.

Most of the moments we captured were within the family’s bedroom, a large space with a couple large mattresses on the floor. The light entered the far window, creating a magical glow of light and depth of shadow. Their daughter was shy at first, but started to open up and show her silly, smiley, lovely personality the longer we spent together.

Such a wonderful time, documenting this family’s life before they become a beautiful family of four <3
