Springtime Flower Crown Family Session | CT Family Photographer

I had booked this session pre Covid 19, and as the date of the session approached we weren’t exactly sure how to proceed. Should we still continue on with the session? Wait and reschedule?

The thing was, this mama specifically wanted to honor and celebrate what she was thinking would be her last moments nursing her sweet boy. This was a session to celebrate family, love, breastfeeding, and the new life growing inside her.

We decided we could safely proceed with the session outdoors and shouldn’t wait any longer (in case we missed our window).

I had honestly missed this; the sweet gaze of a mama when she’s lovingly looking down at her child nursing. The genuine affection and love a dad shares with his son. The joy, happiness, and love between a family celebrating this season of life.

I feel it is important now, more than ever, to document and celebrate these moments (even if they seem mundane). While there were many things we learned from Covid (and are still experiencing) one big aspect is to cherish the moments of simplicity. To slow down and truly “look” at our lives, our family, our children. Reevaluate what is truly important in our lives.

I will be here to help you capture those moments. To help you honor and celebrate them.
