Welcoming Baby G | CT Newborn Photographer

I was honored to be chosen to document the celebration of new baby G and his family. We met at the beautiful wildflower meadow, my favorite spot, just before sunset. The warm summer sun glittered behind the trees, the long grass licking our heels as we walked through the trails.

This sweet new babe looked so teeny, so tiny, within his mother and father’s arms. His silly and wild older brother ran through the trails laughing, playing, loving life.

I think that a lot of families get nervous before a session, thinking they will be awkward or not know how to pose. Let me tell you a little secret though; your family being YOU are the best portraits I can take. Your family playing. Laughing. Sharing a sweet authentic kiss. Snuggling your sweet new baby and taking in his baby smell. Counting his little fingers, his little toes, and soaking in his tiny features.

These are the moments, simple and sweet and natural, that I love to document the most.
