Honoring a Journey, a Studio Breastfeeding Session

Typically during the colder months (and especially during Covid) I host sweet little mini sessions for families to come in and celebrate their season of life.

This mama chose to celebrate her breastfeeding journey.

Almost a year ago, she had asked me to help her celebrate her breastfeeding journey when she first found out she was expecting. We documented her sweet moments with her son in the magical wildflower meadow (my most favorite location).

Now, she anticipated (after the birth of her second son) that her breastfeeding journey with her oldest son would be coming to an end. And this session would be to preserve these moments, this accomplishment, this journey, and all the emotions tied along with it.

This entire session was filled with so much joy, so many smiles, so many giggles, and so. much. love. It was truly wonderful to witness, to be a part of, and to document.
