Breastfeeding awareness month is coming up, and to celebrate I wanted to share a handful of my favorite breastfeeding moments.

Breastfeeding portraits are near and dear to my own heart as my son and I struggled to breastfeeding when he was only a few months old. I remember how hard we worked to strengthen our bond, to overcome that obstacle, and to get back on track. Our own struggles fueled my need to capture other mother’s breastfeeding, documenting their journey as well as celebrating and empowering them in the process.
